Kelly Clarkson Gets Engaged

"I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night!" Clarkson told fans via the social media website Saturday evening (December 15).

"I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever," she said of her fianc�, Brandon Blackstock whom she has been dating for almost a year.

Blackstock, a talent manager, is the stepson of country star Reba McEntire. Clarkson was reportedly acquainted with him for years but their romance began after they saw each other at the Super Bowl in February.

Clarkson sang the national anthem at the event. Below is Clarkson's tweet:
