Flava Flav Explains Clock In Vh1 Special

. Vh1 sent over a preview clip for the "40 Greatest Hip Hop Songs Of The 90S" where Flava Flav tells the story of how he started wearing a clock around his neck and the true meaning of the clock.

The new special will premiere on Wednesday, December 19 at 9pm. Here is synopsis: It's time to get "Insane in the Membrane" and pour out some "Gin N Juice" as VH1 looks back on the 1990's and a decade of unforgettable Hip Hop music by counting down the "40 Greatest Hip Hop Songs of the 90's".

Take a walk down memory lane with Jay-Z, LL Cool J, the Beastie Boys and all your favorite artists as we open the vault for two bass-thumping hours of classic music videos and archival footage. The special will also feature new, original interviews with some of Hip Hop's most memorable faces and hit makers, sharing the stories behind the songs and updating you on what all your favorites are doing today.
