(popmusiclife) One Direction appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman Friday night. The UK boy band were on hand to promote their new album, "Take Me Home."

One D arrived on the program with the evening's first guest, actor Dustin Hoffman, who promptly planted a kiss on Niall before leaving the stage.

The group chatted with the host about their fans, their security issues and touring plans. One D then performed an acoustic version of "Little Things." Watch it here.
