Beanie Sigel Arrested On Drug and Weapon Charges
. Sigel, real name Dwight Grant, is about to start a prison sentence for failure to file tax returns and intended to spend the next weeks focusing on promoting his new album, "This Time," which was released on Tuesday but a when the car he was riding in was pulled over on Interstate 95 in the Philadelphia suburb of Tinicum Township yesterday, those plans changed. Police found a gun in the cars console, according to New York Daily News as well as drugs on the driver, Gerald Andrews and Sigel. Both Sigel and Andrews are convicted felons and are not allowed to possess firearms.
