Judge Rules On Kyuss Vs Kyuss Lives Battle
. But the lawman has warned drummer Brant Bjork and singer John Garcia that they'd be better off coming up with a new name for their outfit. Original Kyuss members Josh Homme and Scott Reeder raised legal action against their former bandmates after they revealed plans to record a Kyuss Lives album. Homme had previously approved the use of the title for live shows, and Reeder had been a member of the group for a time. The lawsuit gave rise to bitter recriminations between the parties, with Bjork and Garcia accusing Homme of operating "double standards". Now Judge James Otero of the California District Court has issued a preliminary injunction. Classic Rock Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
