John Legend Went To Emergency Room This Weekend

(TMZ) John Legend was feeling under the weather following a stretch of extensive travel ... so he took himself to the emergency room this weekend to get checked out , but TMZ has learned he just has a bad case of the flu.

A rep for Legend tells TMZ the singer recently returned from a trip to South Africa (among other places) and was feeling under the weather. So Legend went to a New York City area hospital where he was treated for flu-like symptoms.

Legend was prescribed a healthy dose of rest. His rep tells TMZ, "He's been traveling a lot and must have picked up a flu-bug somewhere along the way, but he's fine and resting at home now." more on this story
