. The tour kicks off on August 8 in Louisville, KY and throughout the month of August, The Last Good Year will play in cities across the country including Nashville, Atlanta, New York City, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Cleveland and St. Louis, among others. They are currently working on a new record with Travis Wyrick (P.O.D., 10 Years) in Knoxville, Tenn. Some veteran rockers on the scenes have taken notice of the group: "I have to say that the first time I heard these guy's I was blown away. Huge fan of their style and song writing, not to mention their chops. Singer's got some pipes as well, which in my book is always a plus. Great band and great group of guys" said Kevin Martin, lead singer of Candlebox and The Gracious Few. "Their songs are well written, and the band rocks live," says Rick DeJesus of Adelitas Way. "These guys are up and coming, for sure."
