Vocalists Alter Slash's Style
. "I would think that my style changes a little bit to fit with the accompanying vocal," Slash explains. "I have a certain whatever [sound] that's me, but I think my approach alters a little bit depending on who I'm working with." "Guitar, for me, is actually its own version of singing," he adds, "And so it has to interact with the person who's doing the actual, verbal singing�so it really influences the notes you pick in certain places."
