Vh1 Says You Oughta Know K'naan
. The VH1 "You Oughta Know" franchise introduces promising artists on the rise to VH1's base of music lovers. K'NAAN joins the ranks of Adele, Bruno Mars, Foster the People and Amy Winehouse, all of whom were featured by the network. The exciting news follows the release of his latest EP More Beautiful Than Silence, which debuted earlier this year. The collection features the irresistible single 'Is Anybody Out There' featuring Nelly Furtado, which the duo recently performed on The Late Night Show with David Letterman and The Ellen Degeneres Show. The single is already making waves, having debuted on the Top 40 chart and garnering airplay on some of the country's most recognized pop brands such as Z100, KIIS and Sirius XM Hits 1. In addition to being named VH1's You Oughta Know artist, K'NAAN has announced the release date of his highly anticipated third album Country, God or The Girl, set to debut on June 5th through A&M/Octone.
