(hennemusic) Chris Cornell latest solo effort is "The Keeper," lead track on the original motion picture soundtrack for the movie "Machine Gun Preacher," which hits select US theatres today (23).

On his website recently for a period of 24 hours, Cornell offered the song for donations that will go directly to Sam Childer's Angels Of East Africa charity.

Cornell stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman Thursday evening to perform the track live. Check it out
