Joe Jackson Talks Jackson 5 and Mister Lucky's Lounge

(rEvolution) Joe Jackson, father and manager of The Jackson 5, returned to Mister Lucky's Lounge Monday, August 29th, 2011, while in town to celebrate his late son Michael Jacksons birthday. Mr. Jackson talked with Mister Lucky's Lounge LLC about Mister Lucky's Lounge in its prime, what it meant for The Jackson 5 to perform there and what it's like to see the club now.

The Mayor of Gary Rudy Clay was also on hand to talk about seeing the Jackson 5 play at Mister Lucky's Lounge and what the venue meant to the city of Gary.

Mister Lucky's Lounge, LLC, the Gary, Ind., based project dedicated to preserving the legacy of the former Mister Lucky's Lounge music venue, conducted the interview and will be releasing the interview via their YouTube page here
