Prince Headed North
. The tour opens with two shows in Toronto on November 25/26, before heading east to Halifax, and back through Ontario and westwards to the December 17 closer in Victoria, BC. The trip will be modeled after Prince's recent "Welcome 2 America" tour, which launched in the New York area in December 2010 with a six-night stand. Prince followed up with three intimate nights in Oakland, and six special nights in the Carolinas, where he performed many of his fan favorite mega-hits. The extraordinary run of shows continued with stops in Sacramento, Fresno and San Jose, with more than a quarter of a million fans joining him for a 21-show run in Los Angeles. more on this story popmusiclife is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
