. Depp and Carter were in P, an alt-rock band that recorded a single, self-titled album in 1995. A renowned Austin songwriter, many of Carter's songs have been picked up by other artists, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, who recorded "Crossfire" and "Willie The Wimp."
