. (Rock News Desk) Garbage drummer Butch Vig wanted to abandon traditional rock sounds when producing the band's new album.

It will be their first since 2005 and is set to feature a new, unfamiliar sound, far from records that he has produced before, including Nirvana's Nevermind.
