Dream Theater's Rudess Discusses Losing Mike Portnoy
. "It's been an incredible last twelve months, or so, just getting this machine known as Dream Theater to where we are now," keyboardist Jordan Rudess tells Brutalitopia. "When we lost Mike Portnoy, it was very intense, it was very emotional: we don't know exactly where we would end up, but we all knew we wanted to make music. We had a positive vision in mind, and we energized finding Mike Mangini, who's been just incredible." "Then we went into the studio," Jordan continues, "I think we made a really good album, and when we go on tour, all I see is happy faces. I think people are just really into the fact that Dream Theater is back, and we're strong." Watch it here hennemusic is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
