David Bowie Camp Shoot Down Musical Reports
. The Guardian ran a detail report which included discussion of how shocked the show's organizers were to obtain permission from Bowie to stage the musical (read that report here. However, MSO sent out this statement on Sunday from the David Bowie Organization: ""Neither the David Bowie Organization, nor its co-publishers EMI Music and Chrysalis, has issued a license for a Bowie musical at the O2, as has been reported in the U.K. There are no negotiations pending for a long-running musical featuring the music of Mr. Bowie." We will have to wait and see how this one shakes out.
