GarageBand Comes to iPhone

. (superLOUD) The GarageBand app is now available for iPhone and iPod Touch devices, and the amount of features present in this $5 download is very impressive.

The program comes with a wealth of musical instruments. It also allows you to plug your guitar directly into the phone if you'd like.

Many of these instruments include "smart" options that will play a host of pre-made ideas that you can direct if you are trying to focus on a particular part of a song idea. Check out the list here
