The operation was to stop a vocal cord hemorrhage from a benign polyp, which has caused the British singer to cancel concerts and personal appearances, in both the US and at home, through the end of this year. The Boston Herald reports that the hospital says the singer's surgeon, Dr. Steven Zeitels, expects Adele to make a full recovery.
