INXS performed with their new lead singer Ciaran Gribbin for the first time last week at Jardin de la Cerveza in Arequipa, Peru on Nov. 3, 2011, to kick off their South American tour. Their camp sent over the following:"I had the best night of my life singing with INXS in Peru. The band was on fire and the wonderful audience was so up for it�a truly awesome experience that I will cherish forever," said Gribbin. INXS performed for over two hours to the Peruvian fans rocking out to some of their greatest hits such as, "Mystify, Suicide Blonde, Need You Tonight and of course their latest release written by Andrew Farriss and Gribbin, Tiny Summer.
Gribbin's debut performance had fans flocking to the band's official Facebook page in admiration of the show.
"I attended the show in Arequipa, and I have to say that INXS exceeded by far my highest expectations. The band is so 'neat' and virtuous playing, and they groove so deep and hard! Mr. Gribbin is an excellent singer and a very good performer," said Luis Fernando Quintanilla Bedrega, a fan who attended the show.
"You guys were amazing on stage tonight in Arequipa. Thank you so much for such a great show, and you'll continue to do great on this tour," said Andrea Denizot.
The band unveiled their first demo recording with Gribbin in September 2011, titled Tiny Summer, and to celebrate, a free music download of Tiny Summer from Personal Musica, an Argentinian-based website that hosts music downloads for mobile phones, will be made available as of Nov. 4, 2011, for a limited time to Argentina only.
INXS announced Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Gribbin as the band's new front man in September 2011, and they will continue to write and record a slate of new songs with Gribbin for a future new studio album release. INXS will continue their "Like You Have Never Seen Them Before" tour in Europe and Australia in December 2011.
