Slash Planning Next Album

. (Gibson) Slash says that his second solo album will be released in spring 2012, with Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy being the sole vocalist. The two are currently on tour together.

Speaking to PlanetRock radio, Slash said, "Myles and I have been writing all throughout the tour so we've got a lot of material, and at this point we're probably gonna start a little bit of pre-production in June and then do the tour in July. In September we're going to [do more] pre-production and the album is slated to come out in March or April [2012]."

Slash has hinted previously he may even give the project a new name, rather than it being a Slash "solo" album. more on this story
