. (hennemusic) To help promote the launch of his new book, "Not Dead & Not For Sale," Scott Weiland made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Friday night's performance of Depeche Mode's "But Not Tonight" on Kimmel's show came just days after Weiland picked up some unfavorable reviews on a New York city concert earlier in the week.

The Wall Street Journal declared the Gramercy Theatre show a disaster, with Weiland hitting the stage 90 minutes later than scheduled, to a vocally unpleasant crowd. See the Kimmel performance here
