Ben Harper Announces Tour and TV Appearances
. The tour will kick off on August 25 at The Warfield in San Francisco, CA and include a show at Terminal 5 in New York City (October 1) and a two-night stand at Washington, DC's 9:30 Club (October 4 and 5). Harper will celebrate the May 17 release of his new album, Give Till It's Gone, with a series of national television appearances. He'll perform the collection's first single, "Rock N' Roll Is Free," on "Late Show with David Letterman" on May 18 and follow the taping with a live multi-platform concert at New York's Ed Sullivan Theater. The event is part of CBS Interactive Music Group's concert webcast series, Live On Letterman. The concert will be webcast live and on-demand through CBS Properties and VEVO. He'll also appear on "The Early Show" (May 19), "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (May 24) and "Conan" (May 25).
