The Flaming Lips New Release Coming in A Gummy Skull

. (Gibson) The Flaming Lips recently recorded video and audio of a performance of their 1999 album The Soft Bulletin � one of Gibson.com's Top 50 Albums of the '90s.

The Oklahoma City rockers performed as SUNY Fredonia campus in upstate New York, because long-running collaborator Dave Fridmann is a professor there, according to Consequence of Sound.

So when is the live release coming out? Well, pretty soon � although you'll have to eat through a gummy skull in order to get to it. Yes, The Soft Bulletin: Live La Fantastique de Institution 2011 will be included in a USB drive that is contained within a gummy skull. more on this story
