(Gibson) For the first time since the '50s, the name Elvis is not among the top 1,000 baby names in America.

BBC News reports that 2010 was the first year that the name Elvis failed to make the list since 1954. In 1957, Elvis came in at #312 on the top 1,000 list.

Elvis has been toppled by names like Jacob and Isabella that came out on top of the list for male and female names in 2009 and 2010. Jacob and Isabella topped the list for the second year in a row, the Social Security Administration said. more on this story
