Behind the Video: Jessie and The Toy Boys' Push It
. The inspiration for the exciting new video to my first single "Push It" came to me while doing the most mundane chore known to mankind; laundry. I was sitting in my local laundry mat on a regular Tuesday night waiting for my clothes to dry; bored to tears, listening to my iPod. Staring at the walls covered in washing machines shaking and spinning. Everything started to melt into itself, and became one massive vortex. "Push It" came on my iPod and instantly the room lit up around me. The graphic shapes and patterns reached out and smacked me in the head and I was energized and over flowing with ideas. This was the back drop for my music video! Sitting on top of one of the stand alone dryers I began bouncing insync with the beat of "Push It". The vibration of the machine mixed with the blasting bass line pouring out of my head-phones and into my chestfelt so good. I pulled out my "Good Karma" notebook and started scribbling down ideas. "Push It" makes everyone want to dance and let go. One of my best memories of dancing the night away was in Ibiza! So I came up with the narrative that the machines would over flow and The Toy Boys and I would host a massive foam party for all of our friends and fannequins. Now that you know the story behind this video, you can watch it for yourself right here!
