Into Eternity's Stu Block The New Voice of Iced Earth

. (Rock News Desk) Into Eternity singer Stu Block will replace Matt Barlow in Iced Earth at the end of the year, the band have announced.

Mainman Jon Schaffer says Block has the range, energy and experience for the role, and he was chosen even before the band listened to the dozens of demos which were sent in since Barlow said he was leaving.

The current frontman's second stint with Iced Earth will end after their summer festival season, after he explained he was unable to commit to their touring schedule beyond this year. more on this story
