Central Casting out of Los Angeles has just announced that the producer and director of Hairspray will be holding an open casting call for the lead role in an upcoming New Line/Warner Brothers feature film adaptation of the successful Broadway play Rock of Ages.

This will be a nation-wide search for the lead role of "Drew Boley," described as "a handsome guy in his early 20's. He's an aspiring rocker, a talented singer/guitarist who's already working with a band." more on this story
