Green Day Broadway Musical Closing Down
. NME.com reports that while the show has run for 421 performances, attendance and ticket sales had dropped appreciably once Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong left the production. Armstrong will return to the show for the final three weeks beginning April 5. After American Idiot closes on Broadway, the production that won two Tony awards in 2010 and a Grammy in 2011 will become a touring production.
