Biffy Clyro Regret Letting Simon Cowell Show Use their Music

. (Rock News Desk) Biffy Clyro singer Simon Neil admits the band didn't think about the consequences of allowing one of their songs to be used by the X-Factor TV gameshow.

The Scottish three-piece faced a backlash from some fans who felt they'd sold out after Matt Cardle reached Christmas number one with his version of Biffy's track Many of Horror.

But Neil says they were on tour when they were asked for permission � and in any case he doesn't think the event did them or the song too much damage. more on this story
