More Details About Bizarre Joss Stone Kidnap Plot

. (Gibson) Details in the bizarre alleged plot to kidnap British singer Joss Stone continue to emerge. Two men from Manchester, North West England, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm to the singer, London's The Sun has reported. A body bag, a rope and a sword were among the items allegedly found in the car driven by the two men.

Stone issued a statement in the wake of the ordeal: "I'd like to thank everyone for their concern," she said, "but I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries."

A neighbor of Stone, Simon Alsop, said the singer visited with his wife not long after the incident. "She was shocked but she was okay," Allsop said. "I think she has friends in with her at the moment but she's holding up fine. When she told us what happened, it was the first we had heard of it. She didn't go into too many details." more on this story
