Matt Duke Premieres Love You Anymore Video

. (WMG) Consequence Of Sound's Cluster1.tv have premiered Matt Duke's new music video for his song "Love You Anymore."

The video is described by Cluster 1 as a "relationship seen through the eyes of modern dance. As Duke sings in the forefront, a male/female couple dances away on a bed and in a living room. Their movements are sensual, representing both the gentle and aggressive sides to any relationship. Each step involves their partner in some way, weaving themselves together throughout the song." Taken from his newest album One Day Die (Ryko), which debuted at #6 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart, "Love You Anymore" has been the song that press advocates and fans alike have consistently gravitated towards upon further listens of the record. Philadelphia's WXPN added the track to their regular rotation, and IGN Music explains how the song is "where Duke's gorgeous, light melodic vocals - apologizing for falling out of love - are matched by Cara Salimando, as the two harmonize beautifully on this excellent duet." As for Matt's overall craftsmanship and writing sensibility on the rest of his album, American Songwriter proclaims "[Duke] possesses a sense of poetic lyricism and an understanding of human nature that indicate anything but the musings of a twenty-something, and the record could ride on his words alone."

At 25 years old, Matt has displayed a true strength and maturity in his songwriting on One Day Die. "The new album is pure singer-songwriter at its core, with production that feels very aggressive and dynamic," says the South Jersey native. He even went to his own dark place last year after suffering a hand injury that was serious enough to jeopardize his ability to play guitar again. "As strange as it sounds, that was a blessing in disguise," explains Duke, "because it was something of an enforced break that made me reconsider everything. When I started again, I found myself taking a completely fresh approach - one where I was willing to just experiment with no reservations."

With this new approach, Duke accelerated his healing process and dug deep to craft these songs. "These songs are a reflection on who I was (and still am in some ways) and where I came from - it's almost like a time capsule." He began to expand his horizons both sonically - as evidenced by the dark, string-laced opener "MLT"and the ethereal "Lay" - and in the incisive wordplay he works so effortlessly to create. The heart and soul of One Day Die finds Duke asking questions of himself and grabs listeners, putting them into a similar frame of mind.

Tour dates have been announced in support of this new record, with more to follow.
