Buffalo Springfield Rock Bonnaroo With 10 Minute Guitar Jam
. Original Buffalo Springfield members, Young, Stills and Richie Furay, were augmented by bass player Rick Rosas and drummer Joe Vitale, replacing deceased members Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin. At one point Young cheekily addressed the crowd: "We're Buffalo Springfield! We're from the past!" The set included a 10-minute guitar jam off the back of "Blackbird," and a rendition of "For What It's Worth," which Young described as "our hit. We had one." The performance concluded with a version of Young's own "Rockin' In The Free World." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
