Famed Record Producer Martin Rushent Dead at 63
. Starting out as an engineer, Rushent worked on albums by Fleetwood Mac and T. Rex before hitting the heights by producing Human League's Dare album. The Guardian newspaper reports that Rushent also worked with XTC, Generation X, Altered Images and the Go-Go's. Rushent also produced the first three Stranglers albums, who made the following statement on their website: "We have just received the sad news that another early band collaborator, Martin Rushent, passed away yesterday aged 63.
