Jersey Shore Season Four Premiere Announced
. This summer will be hotter than ever when America's favorite roommates head overseas to learn all about the culture they love and live by in the birthplace where it all began. As they navigate a new country, they will bring their trademark hilarity, fist-pumping and family dysfunction to "the beautiful country." Fans will get to see more of the show they love, as MTV also announced today that Season Five begins production in June. Going back to the place where a pop culture phenomenon was born, the cast will return to the surf and sand of Seaside Heights, New Jersey for their fifth season. On Thursday, July 28 at 10p.m. ET/PT, MTV will air a one-hour special that chronicles the rise of "Jersey Shore" from its beginning as a buzzed about new show to its current status as a pop culture juggernaut and the highest rated series in the network's history. The special will tell the story of "Jersey Shore" through footage from some of the series' most iconic and fan-favorite moments and new interviews with the cast in which they share their personal thoughts on the show and their journey to the top of the television landscape. Die-hard viewers can prepare for the new season by reliving every Season Three moment when "Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Three" is released in stores on Tuesday, July 26. Retailing in the US for $26.99, this four-disc set includes all 13 uncensored and unforgettable episodes; exclusive extended scenes from some of the season's most explosive moments; three "After Hours" specials; behind-the-scenes moments from the photo shoot; and the not-to-be-missed "Reunion Special."
