Joe Arroyo RIP

The news coincides with the announcement by the Latin Recording Academy that Arroyo would be a recipient of the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award among Gal Costa, Jose Feliciano, Alex Lora, Les Luthiers, Ruben Rada and Linda Rondstadt. Arroyo began his career at the age of 15 and was part of various salsa bands such as Fruko y Sus Tesos and the Latin Brothers.
