Rush and Pink Floyd Voted Top Prog Groups

. (RockAAA) Rolling Stone Magazine has revealed the results of a reader poll to find the top 10 Prog Rock bands of all time with Rush beating Pink Floyd for top honors.

As a genre Prog Rock is enjoying a renaissance. The music of choice of a generation of old fogies would appear to have been adopted by a new generation of young fogies as the top 10 list clearly shows

Perhaps there are a few surprises in the top 10, and as lists always do, this one will set off arguments between bearded men in chunky-knit sweaters as they ponder the hidden meaning of the conceptual astrological time lines involved in casting the final runes, as they sip pints of Old Badger under the thatch of ye olde pubs of England's green and pleasant land.
