"I slacked off on music because the band I had at the time had become a miserable situation," Zombie tells the Toronto Sun. "There was too much in-fighting. Too much of that nonsense always takes place and I just couldn't take the high school mentality. "So that just naturally took me out of it and that was when I started doing films."
