Slash Goes Disney

. (Gibson) When your pet platypus is really a secret agent, pretty much anything is possible. That is certainly the case on the Disney children's program, Phineas and Ferb. Now, with the cartoon duo of Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother Ferb Fletcher about to embark on their own full-length movie, another unlikely character has entered their world: legendary former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash.

The Chapeaued Shredder revealed to Blabbermouth that he recently wrote and performed a song for the Disney Channel original movie, Phineas and Ferb: The Movie�Across the 2nd Dimension. He admitted that the show is a "guilty pleasure." The Velvet Revolver guitarist also revealed that he will appear in an animated video in conjunction with the movie, which he called "very rock and roll, even for a cartoon."

Phineas and Ferb: The Movie�Across the 2nd Dimension will be released as a two-disc DVD set on August 23. more on this story
