The Parlotones Announce Live Broadcast

. South Africa's top selling rock band, The Parlotones, will broadcast a live, multi-platform 3D/2D event simultaneously to cinemas, televisions and the internet.

Dragonflies and Astronauts is a rock theatre event that weaves a narrative through The Parlotones 16 top 40 hits in South Africa.

It will be broadcast LIVE in 3D on DIRECTV's 3D channel, n3D, powered by Panasonic in the United States, and live on 3D in Nu Metro Cinemas across South Africa.

The event will also be available live in 2D on DIRECTV, YouTube and Facebook for fans across the globe to watch.

The performance will broadcast from the Teatro at Montecasino at 4:00pm EST/1:00pm PST on Saturday, July 16th on DIRECTV channels 103 in 3D and 239 in 2D, on The Parlotones YouTube page at www.youtube.com/theparlotones, and on the band's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/theparlotones.
