The Decemberists Webcast Today

. You can check out The Decemberists in a live video webcast hosted by NPR Music and Oregon Public Broadcasting today (Wednesday, January 19) at 12:00pm PT/3:00pm ET.

The hour-long set will include a very special performance and interview before an intimate audience at OPB's studios in the band's hometown of Portland, Oregon, and will be webcast at http://www.npr.org/music/.

This will mark the first extended live performance of material from The Decemberists' new album The King Is Dead, which was released yesterday on EMI's Capitol Records, and Monday on Rough Trade Records in the UK and Europe.
