Mr. Big Releasing Unplugged Album
. The album, Live From The Living Room, features performances taken from a special broadcast in Japan at the end of a whirlwind 11-date tour in January 2011 in support of their reunion album, What If� Captured at WOWOW TV Studios in Tokyo, the band was augmented for the performance by a string quintet playing arrangements written by Takashi Miyazaki. Although proficient acoustic instrumentalists, guitarist Paul Gilbert and bass player Billy Sheehan couldn't resist the allure of their electric instruments for too long though, so they plug in their axes at a few strategic points during the album.
