Celestial Season and The Howling Void Reissues Coming
. Long out-of-print, hard-to-find, and a classic...Metalhit.com will reissue Celestial Season's debut 1993 album, "Forever Scarlet Passion," on Digipak CD, under license from France's Adipocere Records. Though hailing from The Netherlands, Celestial Season was often considered the perennial "fourth wheel" of the early UK tricycle of doom, ala My Dying Bride, Anathema and Paradise Lost. Prior to the band's departure into psychedelic stoner doom, "Forever Scarlet Passion," remains a solid work of early 90's doom as the genre began taking its grip on the hearts of metal audiences worldwide. Metalhit is pleased to announce another doom re-issue: THE HOWLING VOID's debut album, "Megaliths of the Abyss." Offering a distinct and solid premiere of crushing symphonic funeral doom, THE HOWLING VOID's debut album has been consumed fervently by doom metal enthusiasts worldwide. Yet without solid distribution this album has remained on the fringes of the doom underground. Metalhit aims to bring this album to the attention it deserves through this re-issue, featuring new artwork and presented in a generous Digipak CD format. THE HOWLING VOID has since issued their sophomore album via Russia's prized doom label, Solitude Productions. Both of these CDs will be available exclusively in the USA, Canada and the UK via online retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, FYE, HMV, Barnes & Noble, Hells Headbangers, et al, and in select indie stores that sell metal! Other doom re-issues, deserving of more accessibility in the USA/Canada, and coming soon to Metalhit in 2012, include albums from Colosseum, Saturnus, Remembrance, Doom:VS and Alternate 4 (w/ Duncan Patterson, ex-Anathema).
