Public Memorial For Jani Lane Today

Long time friend Marq Torien � leader singer of BulletBoys, spoke about Lane following his passing. "[Jani] was a very good friend of mine, a close friend. We'd done a lot of touring together and pretty much came up the ranks in Los Angeles together in bands," said Marq. "It's just a really, really sad day for all of us, because he was an amazing songwriter. He basically couldn't fight those demons inside that were taking him down. There's been some really close friends of ours passing away. It's a huge loss to the rock community. Time's moving by so quickly and there's only a few of us left.
