Staind's Turmoil Captured For DVD

. (RockAAA) Staind frontman Aaron Lewis says that the process of recording the band's seventh album almost finished them for good. Incredibly the band decided to capture the chaos on film and a DVD will be included in the deluxe version of the CD.

The self-titled album is due out September 13 but Lewis is amazed that it ever got finished. Speaking to Billboard he said: "It was full-on falling apart at the seams. Everything just went completely sideways, for so many different reasons. It got so bad that we stopped working (together) and we just went to doing it on our own in separate locations, with minimal contact with each other.

"It was definitely the most difficult and trying and tumultuous record that we have made yet."
