Richard Gere Putting Up Guitar Collection for Charity

(Rock News Desk) Hollywood star Richard Gere is to auction his collection of 110 guitars for charity � including a Flying V once owned by blues icon Albert King.

The 1958 Gibson model is expected to raise $90,000 while the entire sale should generate over $1m at the sale on October 11 in New York.

A 1931 Martin D28 and an axe once owned by Bob Marley sideman Peter Tosh will also be sold. more on this story
