Former Deep Purple Singer Seeing Red

. (Rock News Desk) Former Rainbow and Deep Purple singer Joe Lynn Turner has slammed the online release of demo tracks he recorded two years ago, saying the person behind their issue is trying to usurp his success.

He says guitarist Scott Rolaf has acted "criminally" in making available an album called Light of Day long after Turner had severed all ties with him. Turner reports: "While there was discussion of releasing some of the demos as part of an album, I was not happy with the way the collaboration was progressing on all levels � artistically, musically, and how it was being presented online.

"That's why I stopped all contact with Scott Rolaf. We were at odds. However, he continued to pretend on social media sites that we were still friends and the project was moving forward. That was an outright lie. more on this story
