(EMI) The Decemberists have announced an additional leg of Summer tour dates for July and August. Launching from their home state of Oregon on July 19, the run of dates will lead them across the Midwest on their way to their headlining performance on the opening night of the Newport Folk Festival.
The trek will bring them back to the West coast for shows at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles (August 12) and the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco (August 13). It also includes return visits to both Chicago and Austin due to overwhelming demand.
