Singled Out: Winds Of Plague

"Refined In The Fire" is our ultimate anthem of strength and perseverance. This was the first song we completed for our new album 'Against The World' and we really aimed to come stomping out of the gates. I want people to hear this track and get pumped.

Like a lot of people, I turn to music to help me get through life's trials and this song was designed to make people feel unstoppable. I truly believe every person is capable of living fulfilling, extraordinary lives but sometimes you just need someone like myself screaming in your ear like a drill sergeant to give you that little boost of encouragement to help conquer the day.

The music behind this song is a little more straight forward then most Winds Of Plague songs which is due to me humming the guitar lines to the guys and them playing. I have zero music abilities so it wasn't quite as technical as most of our material to say the least.
