Wiz Khalifa Almost Tops The Charts
. With sales exceeding 197,000, the album � which marks the rapper's major label debut � is also sitting at #1 on Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums" and "Top Rap Albums." What's more, the Benny Blanco-produced, "No Sleep," has debuted at #6 on the Billboard "Hot 100 Singles" chart after spending most of the past week atop the iTunes singles chart with nearly 250,000 digital singles sold in the first week. Wiz plans to celebrate the success of his debut album with a performance of his new single, "Roll Up" on The Late Show With David Letterman airing next Monday, April 11th Khalifa, who's no stranger to taking his live show on the road, is heralding the release of "Rolling Papers" by announcing the 40-city "Rolling Papers Tour." The tour kicks off on June 11th at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN and comes on the heels of the sold-out "Campus Consciousness Green Carpet Tour," which kicked off last week in Atlanta.
