Singled Out: Ha Ha Tonka's Usual Suspects
. "Usual Suspects" - It sounds a bit cliche, but we just wanted to just write a good, down home song. Our lead guitarist, Brett, had been playing the mandolin quite a bit in rehearsals, and it was decided that this was a sound we wanted to utilize extensively on our new album. Lyrically, it's a simple play on the tried & true good girl likes bad boy(s) motif all within a small-town setting, made complete with a nod to both Casablanca and Keyser Soze. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
